movie recs
One thing about me is that i LOVE movies, like, A LOT. My favorites genres are animation and weird freaky girl (so Shrek and secretary), but t's a spectrum. I am not saying I am on the spectrum tho i promise. So here's a non exhaustive list of movies i recommend and why. I promise, no Star wars or Inception, i mean niche-er cinema.
I am starting a ciné club with a friend so i will probably post movies weekly (if i liked them, don't worry i usually do i have the critical skill of a 5 y/o. I note every movies on Letterboxd VERY well lmao)
Secretary, 2002
A weird girl gets hired has a secretary by a freak. She realises she loves being freaky in a twisted way.
I love her because she is perverted, and twisted. I feel like she would get me. The movie is underappreciated because some stupid idiots thinkss she is beign forced into this, while she is actually the one making the call, and he falls in her trap. She outfreaks him in the best possible way.
Thelma and Louise, 1991
Two girls tired of their lifes are going a trip for the week-end, hoping to blow off some stream, but things are going to another direction and their lifes get changed, forever. This movie is about friendship, girlhood, and a big ol f*ck you to men in general.
This movie is one of my favorites EVER. It made me think about my own friendships, and how i would do anything for my girlies.

I might gossip in here, and make references (probably) to said gossip, even if there is no much more going on in my life rn (funny bc i made another website when i was super bored last year as well lmao). There is one girl that PISSES. ME. OFF. so trigger warning for extreme anger.
